Supporting Education at Bethune
With more items coming in last week and delivered to Bethune this week, the employees and partners of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority generously donated more than 500 deodorants, enough for each student, along with several thousand small size toiletry items to include tooth brushes, tooth paste, shampoos and soaps. To support a school wide focus on personal hygiene education, students are receiving personal hygiene kits using these toiletry items.
In addition to hygiene education, Authority team members are encouraged to support literacy education at Bethune as a reading mentor – a commitment of one hour, per week, during the school year.
