Georgia Dome Teams Up with Georgia State

The Georgia Dome is a proud partner of the Georgia State University Sports Management and Marketing program. Our relationship with the university supports the educational experience of students by providing access to our facility for the purpose of market research.

This year, students enrolled in the management and marketing programs conducted and analyzed survey data collected from event attendees at the 2013 Atlanta Football Classic, 2014 Honda Battle of the Bands, 2014 AMA Monster Energy Supercross and 2014 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

 

2014 GSU Market Research Team

Led by Dr. Brenda Pitts, Professor of Kinesiology and Health, students presented their findings and provided recommendations for continuous improvement of business operations and services for the Georgia Dome and City of Atlanta. Several students were recognized for distributing the most surveys to event attendees.

All students were awarded a certificate of completion signed by Georgia Dome General Manager, Carl Adkins. Research and results will be shared with event organizers in our ongoing effort to offer value added services to clients.
