We SEE GREEN Every Day here at the GWCCA

Friends and Colleagues,

I have had the pleasure of working by your side for more than four years and have been humbled by the experience. Not only have you accepted sustainability as a new concept and value of the organization, but you’ve embraced it. I know this through your actions, from recycling to turning off lights, and from the stories you’ve told me about recycling at home (even if it IS your kids that make you do it…) or about carpooling to and from work. You recognize the importance our actions today have on the wellbeing of the environment and the generations of the future.

While this may officially be Earth Week, I know that it extends throughout the year. I thank you for “seeing green” wherever you go; The Authority and our community is better off because of you.

This past Earth Day GWCCA team members participated in the Downtown Atlanta Clean Up Challenge. The group worked along Ivan Allen, beautifying the area while getting rid of the mass amount of trash.
