It Takes a Team……
On Tuesday the Authority hosted ATA (American Trucking Associations) for a site visit; the show has a potential of booking 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 in Atlanta and we are competing against Houston and New Orleans. So in true fashion, our team members pulled together to create a lasting impression.
Everyone may not work in the Sales Department but EVERYONE has an important part in the process!
So kudos and a HUGE Thank YOU to the staff here at the GWCCA and especially:
Marcy Anderson and Mark Adams who led the charge.
Jessica Horton with Event Services who went above and beyond working with housekeeping, setup, public safety, engineering and parking to ensure that everything went smoothly during the visit.
Miles with the Parking Department who staged the mini coach in the hall, shuttled the entire group over to the marshaling yard, spoke about the convenience of having the event on our campus and answered questions along the way.
Allen Bivens with Engineering who was available as the group entered the exhibit hall. Allen spoke on our lighting system and was available for questions.
Stevie Rabun and our Food Services Department who created a fun and refreshing beverage station for our guests.
AND our partners at Freeman who coordinated the trucks and banner.
THANK YOU to everyone who participated, when we all come together…. magic happens!
