#SeeGreen with these GWCCA Earth Month Opportunities
April is Earth Month and we’ve got some exciting initiatives to help you #SeeGreen! Please see below:
The MARSH Tours
“The M.A.R.S.H,” (Materials and Recyclables to be Sustainably Handled), is the area where cardboard, compost, pallets, and other materials get staged before recycling at the GWCCA. We want you to be informed and know how we handle the materials on our campus so we are inviting YOU to take a tour of The MARSH!
If you are interested you may sign up by emailing our Recycling Specialist, Ima Otudor at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please see the below tour dates:
- Tuesday, April 12th @ 10 a.m.
- Friday, April 15th @ 10 a.m
- Tuesday, April 19th @ 10 a.m.
- Friday, April 22nd @ 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 26th @ 10 a.m.
- Friday, April 29th @ 10 a.m.
Team members who sign up will receive a #SeeGreen tumbler that can be used for free fountain drinks in the Getaway Café!
Additionally, a donation bin for used clothing and textiles will be located in the MARSH throughout Earth Month! Bring in your old clothing after you do your spring cleaning!
Recycling Lunch n’ Learn
There will be two #SeeGreen Lunch n’ Learns with a focus on both the food services and building services departments on April 12th and 19th, with a possible third date the following week. Please send an email to email@example.com for interest in the 3rd Lunch and Learn date that is open to everyone.
