Employee Benefits: Open Enrollment Begins Oct. 16
It’s October, so it’s that time of year again. No, not for football-watching parties, raking leaves, sipping hot chocolate and dressing up for Halloween.
Those are all rites and traditions of autumn, but we’re talking about open enrollment for your GWCCA benefits plan.
This includes medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts (FSA), dependent care spending accounts (DCA), life, critical illness and disability insurance, and the employee legal plan.
Open enrollment kicks off Monday, Oct. 16 and runs through Nov. 12.
Enroll online at www.eelect.com.
Your enrollment I.D. is: 95122. Employee I.D. is your Social Security Number.
Here’s an incentive for being an early bird: the first 20 people to enroll will receive five days’ worth of free meal cards for the Getaway Café.
If you need help, onsite support will be at the Authority’s Atlanta campus to meet with you individually to answer questions and walk you through the process Oct. 25-27, and at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center (SITCC) on Oct. 26.
Representatives from MSI Benefits Group will be available in the Georgia World Congress Center’s Room B203 from:
– 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 25
– 7 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.
In the meantime, Human Resources is delivering open enrollment packets to the Authority’s respective departments including the 2018 Benefits Blueprint booklet.
Of note, the employee legal plan is changing providers, from Legal Shield to MetLaw. Other changes are outlined in the 2018 Benefits Blueprint.
If you do not change your benefits elections, your current coverage will be rolled over to 2018, except for FSA and DCAs
