Authority Wins Big at Public Relations Award Banquet
The Authority’s Marketing and Communications team racked up the hardware at Thursday’s Public Relations Society of America-Georgia Chapter’s 2017 Awards Celebration held at Cobb Energy Centre, including the top honor for annual reports.
The GWCCA’s Landmarks and Legacies: 2016 Annual Report won the Phoenix Award in the Associations/Government/Nonprofit Organizations category, beating out the other finalist, the Georgia Ports Authority.
Also, the GWCCA’s 2020 Vision update won a Phoenix Award of Excellence in the Brochures – Print category.
And garnering another Phoenix Award of Excellence was the inaugural employee booklet, Passport to Preeminence, in the Publications – Single Issue Newsletters/Booklets/Calendars category.
In addition, the Authority was named as co-winner (with the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau) of the Phoenix Award for Marketing Consumer Services – Travel and Tourism/Hospitality for the ACVB’s campaign, 2020 Vision: Revolutionizing Meetings in Atlanta.
