Registration now open for AlertMedia
As presented in Tuesday’s State of the Authority meeting, the GWCCA is rolling out a new emergency notification system called AlertMedia.
It’s a smartphone app, and is easy to register and install – and our goal is to have 100 percent participation from team members.
If you haven’t already, you will receive a registration invitation from AlertMedia with set-up instructions.
The Authority partnered with AlertMedia to streamline mass communications and deliver important notifications via text, voice, app push, e-mail, and more.
AlertMedia is synced with the GWCCA Active Directory system, which means you will have same username and password as your computer login.
Marc Vincent, Emergency Preparedness Manager, offers these tips for signing and setting up your AlertMedia account:
In the AlertMedia Pro app select the ‘My company uses single sign-on (SSO)’ option (shown outlined in red below.)
Then enter “gwcca” in the next screen and press the arrow.
Enter your GWCCA login credentials and sign in.
